Tours
We welcome people to come and interact with the Women on an Iziko Lo Lwazi Tour. This helps the the learners practice their English as well as exposes them to others for whom english is a second language.
The basic tour will take approximately 1 hour and during this time we will show you how to make paper, a gift tag and a beaded decoration. The best part is that you will actually make these yourself to take home with you.
Or you can go for the longer option where you will also be given the opportunity to taste traditional Xhosa food as well as experience a little entertainment. The women of Iziko lo Lwazi dress up in traditional dress, cook and serve you their samp and beans, nqushu and potbrood, ginger beer. Thereafter a song by our choir, a dance by the girls of St Andrews church or maybe a gumboot dance before the craft part as above.
School Groups are also welcome to learn about papermaking and beading as a learning activity
Phone Fezeka on 021 7902273 or 084 5808684 for enquiries or to book.
