You Can Help
- By buying our products, telling others about our work and making us your first choice for invitations or corporate gifts. If you come to Cape Town, please pay us a visit and bring your friends. We love showing guests around and it is a great opportunity to learn about papermaking at beading at first hand.
- By supporting us financially. Big donations are wonderful – they equipped our papermaking workshop, bought us the wendy house that serves as our shop and office, and brought us the fully fitted container that is used as the beading room and literacy area BUT small donations are just as welcome. As an NPO we plough any money made by selling our products back into the project, for wages, rent, electricity, telephone and literacy lessons. A regular pledge towards any of these costs would be hugely helpful.
- By supplying something from our wish list.
- By funding something specific, like the printing of a leaflet or a course in basic business administration, first aid, healthy eating, childcare, fire safety, product design or personal development
- By contributing to our emergency fund for disasters like shack fires, illness in the family or funeral expenses
- By supporting an individual crafter through a small annual bursary
- By offering help with marketing or computer skills.
- By funding or giving physio for Nolwando’s daughter
- Writing Stories about the Women’s lives for this website.
